About Phillyweather.net

Phillyweather.net was developed in July 2005 as the first-of-its-kind site devoted to discussing weather for the Delaware Valley. First originating on the blogspot.com domain, the site was renamed Phillyweather.net in August 2006, with a clear, concise domain that is easier to find.

Phillyweather.net will give you insights into mid and long term forecasts in additional to the typical 'what is it going to do outside today.' We also discuss other topics as well that are of varying importance, including:

  • Weather and the Media
  • Tropical Storms and Hurricanes
  • Climate
  • The Business of Weather
  • Weather And the Media
  • Climate Change
  • Eagles and Phillies Gameday Weather Forecasts
  • Winter Weather (snow!)

  • We sometimes talk about weather that is not Philadelphia-centric. That's ok. We like pointing things out to your attention that you will not see in the regular media but are a part of the wild and wacky world of weather that we deal with on a daily basis since the world does not end at the King of Prussia Mall or at the Jersey Shore.
