Long-Term Cold Pattern Expected
After our relative mild stretch on and around Christmas, the freezer from Canada will swing its door wide open with another shot of big-time cold air.

A clipper moving off the East Coast on the 27th will open the floodgates for a cold airmass to slip down from Central Canada with temperatures likely near or slightly below freezing for highs from Wednesday through the end of next week.
