Today should feature times of clouds and sun. Early morning clouds should lend way to variably sunny skies and high temperatures at or near normal. After the snow of yesterday and the wind chills in the 30's, this is a welcome respite.

The respite will be short-lived however as another storm system makes its way towards us. Clouds increase overnight tonight and rain looks to be a part of the forecast picture for Friday and Saturday. A low pressure system will be moving to our north on Friday. We will be on the warm side of the low and should enjoy a pretty nice day with highs in the 60's for everyone.

The front crosses through late Friday night/early Saturday but a second low pressure system will develop along the front and ride east and northeast, keeping us in the clouds, drizzle, and showers for Saturday. Temperatures will be a bit cooler (in the low 50's) as we will be north of this low.

After a cool weekend, things look to be warming up nicely for the middle and latter parts of next week. Temperatures back into the 60's with plenty of sun look like a decent bet. A ridge of high pressure looks to be setting up off of the SE Coast. If it holds long enough, we could be even warmer next weekend.
