About Brian Donegan

Brian Donegan has been interested in weather since he was about 4 years old. He would watch The Weather Channel everyday and always know the forecast for the upcoming days. Brian lives in Stratford, NJ, and he graduated from Sterling High School in June 2009.

Brian is a recent graduate (2013) of SUNY-Oswego with a degree in meteorology.  Meteorologist David Aldrich, previously employed by FOX 29 in Philadelphia, was Brian's inspiration to go into the field of broadcast meteorology. Brian already has experience in broadcast meteorology because he got to work with the green screen in high school and even on SUNY Oswego's TV station, WTOP 10.  His goal is to find work in television as a meteorologist.

Brian also has experience in the radio business. When he was 16 years old, he broadcast live with The Booker Show on Q102 from 6 AM to 10 AM on February 18th, 2008, and provided weather updates throughout the morning. He also has his own radio show every week on SUNY Oswego's radio station, 88.9 FM WNYO.

Brian loves the warm weather in the spring and summer so he can ride his bike around his hometown of Stratford. His favorite Philly sports team is the Phillies, and he loves attending Phillies games with his family. Brian also loves visiting the Jersey Shore and sitting on the beach all day. However, his favorite vacation spot is Martha's Vineyard, MA, and he visits there every other summer.

You can find Brian on Facebook and can also see his previous experience in broadcast meteorology on YouTube.
