Frosty Friday Night For Some

The signs of Fall abound. Cooler temperatures, our first mentions of frost, the Phillies playoff hopes fading, and shorter amounts of daylight.
Friday and Friday Night
Friday is going to definitely feel more like Fall as high temperatures will only peak in the low to mid 60's, except at the coast where it may be a few degrees warmer because they are a little bit warmer this AM. Clouds to start today with sunshine returning during the later morning and early afternoon hours. Lows tonight will be in the mid and upper 40's in Philadelphia but as one travels outside of the city things cool off quickly. Frost Advisory is out for Carbon and Monroe Counties in PA and Sussex County in NJ for tonight as temperatures will drop into the low and mid 30's up there.
Saturday
The first half of the weekend will be quite nice -- temperatures in the mid to upper 60's after a cold and frosty (for some) start. Sunshine will be filtered out by high clouds late in the afternoon in advance of the next frontal passage. If you're going to go to Farm Aid at the Tweeter Center or if you're not, it should be a nice Fall Day.
Sunday
Our next frontal passage works its way into the region. Like yesterday's front, the trough associated with it looks to feature a negative tilt in the pattern (which may result in another eventful frontal passage). While severe weather may not be likely just three days after an event, some gusty showers and storms are possible. Temperatures may end up in the mid and upper 60's due to cloudcover in the region.
Early Next Week
After Sunday's frontal passage the pattern aloft will switch into a more zonal pattern, which will moderate and warm our temperatures back into the 70's. Another frontal passage looks possible on Wednesday but with the zonal pattern in place the cool down behind it looks to be minimal.
