Hotober Redux

Temperatures early this morning are in the low and even middle 70's in places throughout the Delaware Valley. Even the cooler spots up in the Poconos and Northwest Jersey are running in the mid and upper 60's this morning. The morning 'low' in Philadelphia so far is 69 degrees. If the temperatures does not drop below that at any point today it would be a record for the warmest morning so late in the year and if temperatures stay above 67, a record high minimum will be established for the date.

The average morning low in Philadelphia for today is 47 and for Mount Pocono is 35. With temperatures running between 20 and 30 degrees above normal for this time of year, it feels much more like July and August as opposed to Autumn.

Just for fun, here are the days in the last half of October that have featured the warmest overnight lows during this time period. What is interesting to note is how there were several days that featured decent to significant rainfall (5 of the 12 dates in this dataset had over 1/2" of rain on that particular date).
