Quick Update on Tuesday's Event

The midday model guidance from the GFS and NAM computer models is in and is suggesting that we could see some light rain and snow Tuesday afternoon and early evening in the Delaware Valley as a reinforcing shot of cold air begins to move east through the Midwest along a cold front. Best chances for accumulating snow would be in Allentown, Reading, and the upper portions of Montgomery, Bucks, and possibly Chester Counties. Philadelphia and the nearby suburbs would see snow mixing with and changing to rain.

This does not look like a huge event...hence the lack of posts from me on this system, but the system looks to bring 1-3" to Berks, Lehigh, and Northampton Counties with about 1" for Pottstown and Doylestown based on computer guidance from the midday run. Accumulations in the city itself look to be under one inch.

I'll have more on this late this afternoon and early this evening.
