A Cool, If Not Chilly, Stretch of Weather

We've seen a very cool stretch of weather around here lately, with high temperatures below average five of the last six days through yesterday (we'll get to make that seven of eight before this stretch is over with today and tomorrow both being cooler than average). The stretch of cooler weather may seem more fitting for March or April, depending on the actual high temperature, with highs averaging almost eight degrees below normal over the last six days. The average high temperature from Friday through Wednesday would be considered "normal" weather for about four weeks ago...instead we're getting it in mid to late May.

The cool weather reached its most laughable on Tuesday, with the high temperature of 53 tying a record for lowest high temperature on May 20th, last set in 1987.
