Memorial Day Weather Of The Past

We've had some very wide ranges of temperatures and weather over the last 30 years but only three 90 degree high temperatures on Memorial Day over the past 30 years (2006, 1991, and 1988).What was interesting was the change from Memorial Day 1991 to 1992. In 1991 we had the warmest Memorial Day with a high of 95, followed just a year after with a cloudy and cool 59 degree high temperature. Such year-to-year variability is common in May weather but in 1992 was exacerbated partly as a result of the aftermath of the June 1991 Mount Pinatubo eruptions in the Philippines.
As far as rainfall, 13 of the last 30 Memorial Days have had some measurable rainfall (0.01" or greater), including two days with at least an inch of rain.
