Not Quite A Rarity, But Still Quite Cold
Once the rains stopped in Philadelphia the temperature rose ever so slightly last night, preventing Philadelphia from achieving some infamous weather history. Our high of 51 degrees was still quite cold and was the coldest May day since 1987 when the thermometer hit 50 on May 4th. Temperatures in much of the region ran about 20 degrees below normal for this time of the year on Monday.
