Soaking Rains Across Region

Rainfall totals on the order of three inches fell across parts of Virginia and Eastern Maryland from this storm system, with over 3" falling at Reagan National Airport between Thursday and Friday and over 2" falling just on Friday alone at DCA.

In Philadelphia, 1.56" of rain fell over a 24 hour period, a pretty significant rainfall given the recent dryness in the region. Over 2" fell in South Jersey and 1-2" fell across much of the region except the Poconos and Central Jersey.

Rainfall totals from ASOS and AWOS observation stations in the region.
