11 AM Update On Hanna
I wanted to provide a quick update on Hanna as the 11 AM Advisory is out from the National Hurricane Center.Tropical Storm Warnings were extended north along the Jersey coast to Sandy Hook. These warnings also include Delaware and Chesapeake Bays. Hanna still has 65 mph winds, is east of Florida, and is forecast to turn north and then northeast in the next 24 hours.
The storm is pretty large and thunderstorms and showers are impacting the Outer Banks this late morning. This will move north towards us through the remainder of the day and into our region tonight, with the bulk of Hanna impacting us on Saturday.
