Another 90 Degree Day

Today might be the last 90 degree day we'll see in 2008. Thanks to the combination of a ridge of high pressure to our south and the advance of Hurricane Ike's leftovers far to our west, warm air was pushed northward into the Mid Atlantic and much of the region broke 90 degrees this afternoon.

Records were tied at Reading, Trenton, and Newark today and the 91 degree reading hit at Philadelphia was one shy of the record set back in 1995.
