Hanna Recap
Tropical Storm Hanna is no longer a factor in our area nor is she a tropical storm, having been declared non-tropical as of 5 PM as it passed north of Boston. Hanna brought some much needed rainfall to the region as you can see from the rainfall totals and wind gusts from Hanna through 11 PM last night, courtesy of the National Weather Service. East Brunswick, NJ, received 5" of rain yesterday from Hanna, with 3.72" in Kennett Square the highest rainfall total in Pennsylvania. Much of the region received two to four inches of rain, with southern parts of Delaware and coastal New Jersey receiving slightly less. The strongest wind gust from Hanna was 58 mph at Barnegat Bay.
Here is a preliminary storm report from the National Weather Service as well. They will be checking out the unconfirmed report of a tornado in Allentown at some point today.
