Weather Clip Of The Week: 1994 Limerick Tornado

Another revisit from the past as this year marks the 15th anniversary of a tornado touchdown in Limerick, Montgomery County. This tornado ripped through "The Hamlet" subdivision on July 27th, 1994, killing three individuals and injuring 25.

The coverage in this clip is from Channel 10 (again, in its CBS days). John Blunt is still at now NBC 10 and Cherie Bank recently retired from the station. You can see more information on where in Limerick it did the majority of its damage and its financial cost to Limerick at the Tornado History Project.
