Hoping To Bring This Back Soon
Posting from a sunny and steamy Minneapolis and Minnesota, where it topped out at 94 degrees today under mainly sunny skies. I know the rainy malaise continues in Philadelphia and I feel bad that the East Coast can't shake the pattern but at least there was plenty of sunshine out here in the Midwest today.Unfortunately, I had to board a wagon (well, a Mazda 6) and ride across long prairie (more like farmland) to get the sun and the heat but in the end it was worth it.
Yes, that is the real Walnut Grove, Minnesota up above...not quite three hours from Minneapolis by car. It looks nothing like the TV version of Walnut Grove, especially since that was filmed in Simi Valley, CA. Nonetheless, it was fun to drive across Minnesota in the sun...something that 1200 miles away seems to be in far too short supply.
