Weather Rewind, May 31st - June 6th, 2009
Last week's weather was a decided mixed bag, filled with everything from severe weather to chilly rain to temperatures that weren't so bad on Sunday, Tuesday, and Saturday. However, temperatures last week ended up below average by around 3 degrees (throwing out Sunday, June has started 3.8 degrees below average). Despite the "ducky" weather on Thursday and Friday, only 1.32" of rain fell last week in Philadelphia...about 2/3rds of an inch more than usual but hardly anything the ground could not handle.Temperatures ranged from a high of 85 on Tuesday to a low of 52 the morning prior, with the coolest high of the week a "summery" 61 on Friday.
