Warm Breezes

It wasn't quite 90 but it was still warmer than expected. Philadelphia's high of 88 degrees was the warmest since last Tuesday's 89 in a day that was similar in many respects. We had warmth, wind, a severe thunderstorm watch, and some scattered storms. Today's storms weren't as nasty as last Tuesday's but still did pack a punch in a couple of locations in New Jersey.

Temperatures over the next couple of days will not be as warm as they were today, generally in the lower 80's for both Wednesday and Thursday as high pressure works in and slightly cooler air works down from Canada. Outside of a stray shower that may pop up over northern areas (Lehigh Valley, Poconos) tomorrow afternoon, dry weather should rule the roost in much of the region through Friday.
