Weather Rewind, June 28-July 4, 2009

A summery but not terribly hot week for Philadelphia over the past seven days, with temperatures almost exactly near average (just about 1/4 degree below average in Philadelphia) and not a lot of precipitation as well (measured 0.18"). Of course, storms dropped more than that in spots throughout the region over the past week, with some rainfall amounts Wednesday night and Thursday totaling over two inches of rain and other storms on Tuesday dropping nearly three inches of rain in Souderton, Montgomery County.

Constant (or near constant) temperatures were a theme over the past week, with only a seven degree spread from the coolest high on Friday to the warmest high on Tuesday.
