Freezing In Allentown, Frosty In Burbs
Temperatures this morning started off pretty cool around the region, generally in the 30's for everyone. Frost was common again in the suburbs on both sides of the river, with lows below freezing in a number of spots outside of the immediate city.Allentown and Quakertown both dropped to 28 degrees this morning, with York dropping to 27. Both were the coldest locations in the region and colder then Mount Pocono's 31 degree low. Other subfreezing lows include Millville (30) and Doylestown (31).
Locations close to the city not listed above also got into the 30's....Northeast Philly dropped to 36, Willow Grove dropped to 35, and Mount Holly bottomed out at 34.
