Frost & Freeze Potential Tonight

Expected clearing skies and winds that will diminish after sunset will help set the stage for a chilly November night as high pressure builds in from the west. This will help set up the prospect for a frost and freeze for New Jersey, Delaware, and Southeastern Pennsylvania overnight. Frost advisories (dark blue shading on the map below) are out for the I-95 corridor along the Delaware River, the Jersey Shore, and the state of Delaware; with freeze warnings (light blue shading) out for interior South Jersey (away from the coast) and for Bucks, Montgomery, and Chester Counties in Pennsylvania.

Areas to the north of the warnings have seen their growing season end according to the National Weather Service due to earlier frosts and freezes during October.

Low temperatures overnight will drop to around freezing in the freeze warning areas and into the mid and upper 30's in the city (warmest downtown).
