Forecast for Sunday, November 27, 2011
Tonight: A few clouds....especially high clouds.
Sunday: Clouds and sunshine. More clouds are expected towards early evening. Fog will likely develop in the evening and it will become locally dense by late night.
Monday: Dense fog and drizzle likely in the morning. Then it will turn mostly cloudy. There is a chance of a few showers.
Tuesday: The wettest day of the period. The models seem to suggest a heavy slug of rain coming through later Tuesday into Wednesday Morning. The rain may be heavy at times and we could see a quick inch of rain. There could also be a few thunderstorms.
Wednesday: Morning rain and thunder will be followed by clearing. The models are milder than in previous runs and I still cannot rule out a sleet pellet mixed in...but this will be mostly rain for all.
Thursday: Driest and brightest day in the forecast.
Friday: A cold front will pass through in the evening. There could be a few rain or snow showers, but this looks like a mainly dry frontal passage as of right now.
Saturday: The coldest day of the extended forecast. Highs could struggle to exceed 40 degrees outside of the city.
I will be watching Wednesday Evening and Saturday for gusty winds.
