It wasn't much in the city (just a trace officially) but a year ago featured a Thanksgiving snow event. Some spots picked up a couple of inches, particularly to the city's north and west, but the snow and chilled showers were enough to brighten holiday spirits. It didn't brighten the turkey's spirits just a year ago but for the snow-starved, last Thanksgiving's bit o' snow was just the tip of the iceberg of another snowy winter of content.
Later on today we'll highlight the weather of the last few Thanksgivings to show you that each year is a bit different...and how much variety late November weather can have around Philadelphia.
