Thankful For a Nice Day

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!  It's going to be a nice day weatherwise -- plenty of sunshine.  Turkeys may struggle to enjoy today but by and large the Delaware Valley will have a very enjoyable Thanksgiving day as sunshine dominates (perhaps a few passing high level clouds later on) and winds that will generally range from 8-14 mph, a bit higher this morning and lighter this afternoon.

For those going to the Thanksgiving Parade this morning or to high school football games around the region, expect temperatures in the 40's after 9 AM in the region, raising to around 50 by midday.  Temperatures will top out near "typical" levels for late November -- generally in the 53-56 range across the Delaware Valley today.  Philadelphia's projected high will be 55 degrees this afternoon.   Today will be the coolest day of the next several as we warm back up for the weekend. Highs in the 60's will return for Friday through Sunday, although a chance of rain is in the forecast for late Sunday with the approach of a cool front from the west.
