Another Dry Saturday

Last night's weak system has exited stage right, tracking pretty far to our south and bringing just clouds to the vast majority of us.  Most of those clouds have departed, leaving a mostly clear sky to start the day.  That won't last, however, as an upper trough will traverse the Northeast today and bring us an agitated sky later on today.  Clouds will gradually increase later on from northwest to southeast, especially after midday.

Temperatures today will be a bit cooler than they were yesterday afternoon, with high temperatures generally in the lower 40's except to our south (middle 40's).  We're projecting 43 for the city this afternoon.   In addition to the lower temperatures, northwest breezes will be back today at 12-16 mph.  It won't be as gusty as yesterday morning but with a touch less sunshine in the afternoon it might be a chilled afternoon around the region.  However, for the seventh straight Saturday, it will be dry.

That upper trough may fire up a few flurries tonight or perhaps a sneaky snow shower...no accumulations are really expected tonight but don't be surprised if you see flakes fly in a few spots, especially north or west of town, later this evening.
