We're starting the weekend off on a cool note through the region -- temperatures in the 30's for Philadelphia and points south, with 20's in the cooler burbs to our north and west. With clear skies and light winds, it's a frosty start for many around the Delaware Valley this morning. Skies will be bright however thanks to a near wall-to-wall day of clear, with temperatures poised to bounce to around 50 degrees by this afternoon. Winds will remain light through the day, nudging east at 5 mph or so, meaning there will be little in the way of chill to the air if you're in the sun.
The weekend as a whole is shaping up as epic weather win -- although Sunday will not be as sunny as today, temperatures will be several degrees milder and could nudge 60 in Delaware and South Jersey with a mix of high clouds moving in from the west in advance of a slow-movin' cool front that we'll experience next week. Cooler air is coming later in the week -- perhaps even "cold" by next weekend.
