December 27th, 2011 Forecast

Tonight: Clouds will be on the increase with light winds. Lows will drop into the lower and mid-30s. South-southwest winds will shift from the south at 3 to 8 mph. The sunset this evening is at 4:42 PM.

Tuesday: Clouds thicken in advance of rain developing in the afternoon. It will be breezy and mild with a high near 55 degrees. South winds will shift from the southeast at 10 to 20 mph with gusts to 30 mph. The chance of rain is 90 percent. The high temperature may very well come in the evening like it did when we got into the lower 60s last week, and it wouldn't surprise me if we actually end up near 60 degrees again.

Wednesday: Windy and colder under a mix of sun and clouds. High around 40 degrees. Winds will occasionally gust near 45 mph.

Thursday: Mix of sun and clouds, chilled. High in the upper 30s.

The next chance of precipitation after Tuesday appears to be on January 2nd. The 12z EURO is suggesting a warm day in the upper 50s with rain moving in during the evening, changing to snow overnight. However, the 12z GFS shows a dry day with temperatures in the mid-40s. Stay tuned for updates.
