Updated Watches & Warnings For Today
So many watches, warnings, and advisories out that we needed to drop them into a separate post! Here's the rundown as of 4 AM this morning.
Flood watches out for the I-95 corridor, Lehigh Valley, and Central New Jersey for today and tonight. Rainfall projections in the flood watch area are on the order of one to three inches, with most locations picking up a couple of inches of rain before all is done late tonight.
In the Lehigh Valley and Sussex County (NJ), those flood watches are augmented with Winter Weather Advisories as advisory criteria snowfall should accumulate later tonight. The National Weather Service suggests three to five inches of snow will accumulate across those counties, with our projections at one inch in the valleys and four inches on the hills.
The Pocono counties in Pennsylvania are under a Winter Storm Warning for tonight, with projections of three to seven inches of snow in our forecast across the Poconos on north and northeast.
At the Shore, Wind Advisories are out for tonight after 9 PM as winds will increase later this evening, with gusts potentially reaching 50 mph at the Shore around Midnight at the peak of the gustiest winds.
