Arctic Blast

In the wake of yesterday's storm system, blustery and very cold conditions will be in place for today as temperatures will struggle to reaching the freezing mark.  This is an Arctic air mass and it really came in with a fury last night when temperatures dropped and the winds picked up.  Considering how warm its been all winter, today may be one of the coldest days so far, especially when you factor in the wind.  Its going feel like a real shock.

We'll see winds today average in the 20-25 mph.  Its not going to feel pleasant at all, so dress accordingly when going outdoors.  We'll mainly see a mix of clouds and sun today with no precipitation to worry about.  The good news is that this very cold air mass will only last today and tomorrow.  This has been the story all winter.  The features have not been in place to get sustained periods of cold weather.
