Back to Normal
Today will actually feel like late March/early spring. Temperatures are going to be much lower than what we saw last week. It will definitely feel a lot cooler outside, but that is mainly the fact due it being so warm last week. Today temperatures will actually be in the normal range for this time of year. We should be in the upper 50's for highs and that's what many places will see today. Temperatures will struggle to reach the 50-dgree mark closer to the Poconos.
Expect lots of sunshine. It will be quite breezy today with a gusty North wind averaging in the 15-20 mph range. The cooler weather is all thanks to a storm-system well offshore and a trough at upper-levels that is bringing in colder air behind it in addition to the winds. We'll be under the influence of this tomorrow as well, before temperatures begin to rebound by mid-week.
