It's a May-like afternoon in the Delaware Valley as warmth, the lack of a fog layer this morning, and mostly clear skies have helped bumped temperatures into the 70's across much of the region. The only places where any cooler air resides is right along the immediate Shore and near the Delaware Bay -- 50's at the immediate water, 60's a few miles inland are common.
Records have been knocked out so far in Mount Pocono, Trenton, and in Allentown as of 3 PM. Philadelphia is just three degrees shy of its record high for the day (78) as of 3 PM.
If you like today, you're going to love Thursday. We'll talk more about that later on this evening!
In terms of rain, there is some thunderstorm activity over the Poconos and in Central Pennsylvania that is moving very little at this hour. Most of that should stay west and northwest of the city through the evening hours.
