April 3rd, 2012 Forecast

Outside of the city, another chance for frosts and possible freezes is in the cards as today's north winds help set up tonight's colder night.  It's not colder today in reality compared to yesterday -- in fact, high temperatures today may top out a couple of notches warmer than yesterday's 56.  However, a bit less atmospheric moisture, clear skies, and diminishing winds overnight will set the stage for temperatures to drop off rather efficiently.   By morning, lows will range from the 20's in the coldest of outlying areas to the middle 30's in Center City.

Tuesday's temperatures will rebound with plenty of sunshine, a moderating west to northwest breeze that will remove the sting of tonight's chill, and milder air advancing in aloft from the west.  Temperatures should approach the middle 60's along I-95, with lower to middle 60's buffering the region at the Shore and to our northwest.   A nice day in store for all.

Some clouds may increase late in the day ahead of a cool front for Tuesday night or early Wednesday but little in the way of precipitation is expected with the front.  Any rainfall on Tuesday night/Wednesday will be pretty minor and the only real chance of rain we will see this week.
