Cooler, Kinda Breezy Today

After yesterday's 71 degree high, cooler air is working into the region this morning.  Temperatures are mostly in the 40's, with a couple of upper 30's in those typically "cooler" spots to the north of town.  Frost shouldn't be an issue over the Lehigh Valley, in general, this morning; however, it might be tomorrow morning as the combination of mostly clear skies and light winds at night help provide enough ammo to help temperatures drop off over the next couple of nights.

High pressure will start to build in this afternoon, with northerly and northwesterly breezes at 10 to 15 miles per hour helping to drag down cooler air from Canada.  Highs today will average about ten degrees cooler than Wednesday -- generally around 60 for this afternoon across the region.  A few high clouds will pass overhead from time to time but on the whole, expect mostly sunny skies.  The combination of breezes during the day and lower humidity levels may lead to the potential for grass and brush fires in spots this afternoon.

With the "typical" high this time of the year at 60 degrees, today will shape up as a run-of-the-mill early April day.
