After a day of modest breeze, the wind will pick a bit more today...nothing that we can't handle as winds should average 10 to 15 miles per hour. Those west and southwest breezes from high pressure that's not off of the Carolina coastline will continue the moderation trend and morph it into a warming trend this weekend. Temperatures starting in the 40's for most, 30's in the coolest spots, will quickly jump with the tons of sunshine expected through most of the day and reach the middle 70's by day's end across the Delaware Valley, with 74 the high water mark in Philadelphia this afternoon.
It will be a very nice day; however, clouds will increase late in the day as a warm front back in the Great Lakes marches east. We could see some showers and storms overnight and early Sunday morning...more on that later on this morning. The warm front will set the stage for close to 80 on Sunday, 80's on Monday and Tuesday.
