May 12th, 2012 Forecast

An up and down week has ended on an absolutely beautiful upcoming weekend, just in time for Mothers Day.  Skies will be mostly sunny before another period of unsettled weather arrives next week next week.

Tonight will be a great night to get out if you've been couped up inside.  There will be more clouds in the sky, which will translate into warmer temperatures overnight.  On the contrary, Friday morning's low temperatures were a wide range from the upper 30's to lower 50's.  Tonight, the range will be fairly limited with the addition of clouds and a lighter wind.  Tomorrow temperatures bump up about ten degrees to hover around the 80-degree mark.  Skies will still be partly cloudy with a west-northwest wind, from 5 to 10 mph.

Sunday will be the warmest of the seven-day as skies will gradually start to cloud up.  Mother's Day 2012 will still be dry, however.  Monday will start to see that unsettled weather start to move in, as well as some cooler temperatures.  Some locations could be 5 to 10 degrees below where they were the previous day.  Scattered thunderstorms are possible both Monday and Tuesday, during the day with a chance of steadier in the evening and on the overnight.

Wednesday still holds a chance of spotty showers, however skies will also start to clear - from mostly to partly cloudy.  Thursday is the best day of the upcoming work week.  Partly cloudy skies, light winds and temperatures in the mid- to upper-70's make for a pleasant day from start to finish.  Friday might see some pop-up showers but skies will also be 50/50 with clouds and sun.
