More Clouds Than Sun

Cloudy skies are what we wake up to this morning across the region.  There is even some dense fog in some spots.  This is confined to areas near the Poconos and in parts of Central and Southeastern New Jersey.  Temperatures are warmer further inland than closer to coastal areas with low to mid 50's across eastern PA and upper 40's across central and southern NJ and Delaware.

Yet again today clouds will dominate with some peaks of sun from time to time across some areas.  The forecasts have been challenging the past few days as these marine layers that set in from light southerly and northeasterly winds can really play havoc on trying to determine when and if the clouds will break.  There is also a weak system out in the Ohio Valley and a warm front approaching that may bring a few showers to areas well north and west of Philadelphia.

Expect winds to be light again, mainly from the South.  Coastal Flood Advisories are in effect again today as there could be some minor tidal flooding overnight and tomorrow morning around the time of high tide for all coastal areas of NJ, Delaware and places along the Delaware River and Bay.
