It's going to be an awesome day today -- lots of sun, not as much wind as the past couple of days (still breezy at times and in spots) but temperatures will be even warmer than yesterday's lower 70's. Expect highs near 80 this afternoon away from the coastline as sunshine dominates and winds continue to nudge warmth towards us. The Shore will get to the middle 70's this afternoon before a seabreeze nudges temperatures slightly lower late today.
We're starting in the 40's and 50's nearly everywhere this morning -- the exception being Quakertown and a few spots in North Jersey where 30's are common...but as the sun works its magic the next few hours I would expect temperatures to quickly jump. The weekend as a whole in the Delaware Valley looks rather nice despite clouds increasing through the day. Rain and thunder may spoil the party in Central and Western PA tomorrow afternoon but the Delaware Valley should stay dry.
