Third Verse, Same As First & Second

Temperatures this morning are in the 60's across the region under mainly cloudy skies.  There are some pockets of localized dense fog this morning, mainly in areas where rains were a bit heavier yesterday afternoon.  Additionally, a weak impulse in the atmosphere has triggered a few showers and storms that are to the city's north as of 5:30.  These showers and rumbles of thunder are lifting northeast slowly, pushing towards North Jersey over the course of the next couple of hours.

In terms of today's weather, things are shaping up a bit similar to yesterday in the sense that thunderstorms could pop...however, it's possible we see a few more showers and storms around through the course of the morning.  With a weak front pushing east into Pennsylvania thunderstorms may be prone to fire in the humid and unstable airmass over the region.  Any storm that pops has the ability to bring heavy rainfall, gusty winds, perhaps some hail...but, like the last couple of days, some areas could miss out on this altogether.

Highs this afternoon should reach into the lower 80's away from the ocean, mid 70's at the Shore.  A similar forecast in many respects to those of the past couple of days, even if the timing of showers/storms is a bit different and a few storms pop up earlier (or later) than they did yesterday.
