Very Warm with Possible Thunderstorms

Temperatures are in the upper 60's to around 70 across the region as of 7am.  There are a few showers and thunderstorms around.  There are a few spotty showers in parts of Eastern PA and a few thunderstorms across central NJ.  There will be a lull during the morning hours where we'll see some sun mixed with clouds, before the heating of the day that could develop some thunderstorms across the entire region during the afternoon and evening hours.  Not expecting anything to be severe in nature, but any areas that do get them, will some brief heavy rain and lightning.

Highs for today will peak in the mid 80's, so it will feel more like summer.  We'll see even warmer temperatures for tomorrow and an Excessive Heat Watch has been put up for the city of Philadelphia and surrounding counties in PA and NJ.  Winds will be light in general from the westerly direction.
