Clouds and Cool/Shower Possible

We'll see pretty much a repeat of yesterday's weather today.  Like yesterday morning, we are starting off with clouds thanks to a light easterly breeze off the ocean.  However, the clouds are not as widespread in some spots as yesterday morning.  As of 7am, all of Southern New Jersey is cloud free, with more overcast skies in Central and Northern New Jersey.  There are also clouds to the west in Central and Eastern PA.  These are due to a weak cold front that is approaching the area.  There are also some showers currently in central PA.  They are not moving too fast.  With the front approaching the region today, it could spark off a few showers; however, not expecting anything heavy in nature.

While we may see some sun from time to time, for the most part, clouds will dominate today.  Temperatures will remain on the cool side once again, with highs topping out in the lower 70's, while staying in the 60's near the shore areas.

Big changes are coming for mid-week, as the heat and humidity is coming.  We'll see on last day tomorrow of seasonal conditions, albeit warmer than today.  However, by Wednesday, we will soar into the 90's.  An excessive heat watch has been issued by the National Weather Service for counties in and around the city of Philadelphia for Wednesday and Thursday.
