June 14th, 2012 Forecast

Today's breezes will not be as big a factor tomorrow as the coastal low responsible for today's wind will weaken and push southeast this evening.  We will still have some breeze at the Shore but compared to today, it shouldn't be anywhere near as breezy.  The next few days, in fact, look rather nice as sunshine (or sun and clouds mixed) dominate the landscape throughout the Delaware Valley...with the trend nudging towards sunnier conditions as we work into the weekend.

Tonight:  A shower or two is possible at the Shore this evening, perhaps into interior portions of South Jersey and Delaware as well, before they taper off around sunset.  Skies will range from partly cloudy northwest to mostly cloudy southeast of town tonight.  Breezy this evening, with winds tapering off after sunset as lows drop into the mid 50's northwest and hang around 60 or so at the Shore and in the city.

Thursday:  Some clouds around, especially in the morning and again in the afternoon, with some sunny intervals in between.  It will be a nice and less breezy day compared to today as highs approach 80 inland and get to the mid 70's at the Shore before backing off with a midday and afternoon seabreeze.  Winds will be from the east and northeast at 6-12 miles per hour, perhaps gusting close to 20 at the Shore.

The theme through the weekend is for dry and nice weather as temperatures generally top out at or above 80 throughout the weekend, with lows around 60 or just above that in the city each night.
