June 26th, 2012 Forecast

Today's cool front will usher in a couple of days of comfy weather in its wake before the heat nudges back into the picture for the end of the week.    While not a prolonged shot of cool, it will definitely be a welcome reinforcement of nice weather that will serve as a nice appetizer before the muggies come back.

Tonight features early evening breezes before sunset, with winds calming overnight and skies generally clear to partly cloudy.  It will be a comfortably cool night as lows drop to around 60 in the city, 50's outside of the city.

Tuesday features early sunshine before puffy clouds pop up in the strong June sunshine.  Those clouds and the cool air aloft will probably keep us form hitting 80 in the city -- we're projecting 79 tomorrow afternoon, with mid and upper 70's common throughout the region.  It will be a bit breezy at times with northwest breezes at 10 to 16 miles per hour.  The nice weather continues into Wednesday but with more sunshine temperatures should bounce into the 80's.
