Rainy Tuesday

A rainy day is on tap as a cold front will be approaching the area.  Currently, there is an area of rain in Southeast PA/Northeast MD, that is moving northeast and will be making way into the greater Philadelphia area and Southern New Jersey over the next few hours. There are more showers to west accross Central PA and these will make their way east throughout the day.

It will be mainly cloudy and quite cool today.  Temperatures in the upper 60's now will not move much throughout the day and top out in the lower 70's.  There could be a thunderstorm or two in certain spots, but not expecting anything widespread or severe.  Any thunderstorms that do develop will have the potential to produce heavy rain. The cold front is currently in Western Ohio, but its moving rather quickly and should be clear of our area by early tomorrow morning.  Total rainfall is projected for today is in the 0.50" to 1.00" range.
