Two Thumbs Up Weather

We're off to another cool start for late June as temperatures early this morning are in the 50's for the most part, with a few lower 60's in spots around town thrown in.  It's as cool as 50 in Quakertown as of 4 AM -- a nice, fresh morning up there.  These type of mornings will be fleeting as this break in summer will depart starting today...temperatures will be several degrees warmer than they were yesterday, with mid 80's common by day's end throughout the Delaware Valley for end-of-day high temperatures.

While breezy, like yesterday, the influence of the cold pool of air aloft is waning and as a consequence we should have more sunshine through the course of the day.  Despite the warmer temperatures, humidity levels remain modest today but there will be a bit of "dew point creep" in the air as dew points nudge into the lower 50's after residing in the rarefied air of mid and upper 40's yesterday afternoon.   Humidity creep will continue as heat builds for Thursday and Friday...and yes, 90's are back tomorrow (unfortunately).
