Summer Streak
While a nice, comfortable start to the day in many spots this morning it does promise to be another warm one out there. We're starting in the 60's for many spots this morning -- a couple of lower 70's in the city and points south -- which isn't unusual for July. Temperatures will be poised to jump back above 90 degrees by day's end under a mostly sunny sky. That's also not unusual for July since our average high today is 87. It will be a dry day for many -- there's a slight chance for a shower or storm again this afternoon but, like yesterday, most of us should be dry again today.
The Shore will feature the "coolest" temperatures -- mid 80's this afternoon as winds gradually nudge around and a sea breeze sets up shop in the afternoon, holding temperatures steady after midday.
