Currently as of 7am, there are some clouds around with some areas having more overcast skies than others. There are a few showers in the far northern areas of our region, mainly in Northeast PA. Compared to the last few days, we will begin to dry out today as a mid-level trough that has been bringing the shower/thunderstorm threat over the past few days is moving out of the area. This feature may still be close enough to cause enough lift and produce a shower or thunderstorm this afternoon. Areas where this may occur would be mainly in the city and points north.
Temperatures are currently in the upper 60's to around 70 degrees. Highs today will top out in the low to mid 80's. With a light breeze from the North and Northeast, humidity values will be low and it will feel rather pleasant. We'll see a mix of clouds and sun for the most part, with some areas, especially farther south seeing less clouds and more sunny skies.
