August 4th, 2012 Forecast

A muggy, summery weekend is on the way.  We'll continue to add to our plethora of 90 degree days that we've racked up this year and should have a stretch of four in a row once Sunday is complete.  While we won't see the levels of heat we did in July with 100 degree highs, we will still have a combination of heat and humidity that will make it feel pretty hot out.

Along with the heat, humidity, and sunshine there is a chance of pop up thunderstorms tomorrow afternoon around the region.  Not everyone will get a storm but there's enough instability around with a dying frontal boundary lying nearby that the front can act as a trigger to cause these storms to fire up.

Thunderstorm chances will be higher on Sunday afternoon and evening as a frontal boundary approaches the region from the west...some of those may be severe with gusty winds and hail as dynamics will be better and the front has a bit more pop to it.

Lows tonight will drop to the lower and middle 70's around the region as any evening thunderstorm activity will fizzle after sunset.  Highs tomorrow will generally range from the mid 80's at the Shore to the lower 90's across most of the I-95 corridor with a mix of clouds and sunshine.
