A weak cool front is passing through the region early this morning, shifting winds around to the north and northwest but offering next-to-no precipitation as it crosses the region. It did bring a pittance of rain to Allentown and points north earlier -- with a few hundredths of an inch of rain falling up there. Temperatures to start today are relatively mild -- generally in the 60's locally, 50's farther northwest.
We will see more sun than clouds today -- a few puffy clouds can't be ruled out once the deck of clouds with the front clears through in the next couple of hours -- and with a bit of a breeze from the northwest at 8 to 16 mph, gusting to perhaps 20 -- it will have a bit of a fresh feel in the air today. That said, the sun will be a warming influence and it will be a nice day overall as high temperatures will get into the middle 70's across the region this afternoon.
