Friday Night Lights Forecast - Week 5

If you're a football fan, hopefully you've been able to get out before this week.  Unlike the last few weeks, we could see a real chance of some precipitation affecting the games.  Friday is just one of the days through the weekend that will be unsettled.

Close to the metro, temperatures at the opening kickoff will be in the lower 70's and feeling humid.  Most areas could be mostly cloudy with a scattered shower or thunderstorm around, however by halftime, most of the precipitation will have moved out of the area.  Remaining overcast, temperatures in the final quarter will have dropped into the mid-60's.  Winds will start out of the west, shifting to the northwest at 5 to 10 mph.

Shower chances are increased to the north and west, but possible through the region.  Otherwise, skies remain mostly cloudy.  Temperatures to the north and west starting out cool and remaining cool with a kickoff temperature in the upper 60s, dropping to the lower 60s by the end of the game, hopefully with a win.  To the south and east, temperatures starting out in the mid-70's, but less of a shower chance through the evening.  Games ending in the area in the upper 60's and hopefully a win.
