Lots of Clouds. Shower/T'Storm Southern Areas
A frontal boundary is draped across the southern part of our region this morning. Its located across Southern NJ and Delaware. In addition, the remnants, or what's left of Isaac, is slowly making their was east towards our area as well. These two features will help to keep a lot of clouds around today, with minimal sunshine. Southern areas, mainly south of the city do see the chance of a shower or thunderstorm during the afternoon. Saying that, there are a few showers, currently in central PA that are slowly moving southeast, so areas in PA south and west of the city may also see a shower or two as well at some point.
High temperatures today should top out in upper 70's to lower 80's. Coastal and higher terrain areas will see highs a few degrees cooler. Winds will be out of the Southeast. As the remnants of Isaac creep closer, we'll see a better chance of rain tomorrow and into Tuesday. Some of it could be heavy rain, but we'll provide more details as it gets closer. While little sunshine today, enjoy the dry weather, because the start of the work week will be quite wet.
